There is probably not one reader of Phoenix for whom the name Henri Monfort would not ring a bell. This breatharian, someone who feeds only from the energy of prana (the Light, cosmic energy, Qi and other synonyms…), has aroused tremendous interest in our country. Thanks to Jaroslav Dušek and friends we had the chance to meet him in person during his conference tour in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in autumn 2011 and spring 2013. But the name of Dana Hájková will not be quite so familiar, except to those who met and heard her speak at one of the conferences during the second tour in 2013 and those who have read Henri and Dana’s book – “Pranic nourishment: another path to spirituality”. During a break in this extensive tour I also had the opportunity to meet her for myself.
During the conference it can be seen that Dana has much in common with breatharianism, but what and how exactly, I gathered from the text of the book mentioned above. A tall, slim, fragile, blonde woman, a former nurse, then health entrepreneur, went on the 21-day process in 2012 and it is thus a member of the pranic family, spread throughout the world.
In this joint book she describes the story of her disrupted life. Her troublesome childhood and her adolescence in a family in which negative energy towards women and violence reigned, forcing her to leave home early.
The spouse she attracted through her energies in that period of her life was of a similar inclination to her father. At the same time Dana showed her penchant for caring. She felt the need to help people who were suffering and she became a nurse. As she searched for happiness and tried to heal her inner wounds, Dana expanded her professional education, in her own country and abroad, which at that time was quite unprecedented. She travelled and gained great international recognition. Yet she was not happy and decided to change her life which was turning out differently from what she had expected… but it’s a long story you can read separately. The questions that came to my mind while reading the book could also be yours, so here we go with Dana’s answers. Let’s start from the beginning:
Can you briefly tell me your feelings about your childhood, what experiences you have taken into adulthood?
Indeed, my childhood. A great game of fear and love that repeated itself over and over. Then I got tired and the game was over (due to my psycho-spiritual crisis and the suffering of my body/so I had to be reborn ☺.
After reading your book I said to myself that your far-from-easy life since childhood was the preparation for the awakening of your shamanic soul. Is that true?
Yes, now I have accepted how I am.
I guess that the difficult task for you was to liberate your femininity, which it seems you have succeeded in doing. Before that, as a result of what you experienced: … “the conclusion was the closure of the fifth chakra… the beautiful woman became an ice queen… true to her origins and the family karma…”. I quote your words from the book.
My femininity was knocked hard. I am often surprised that I managed to survive all of that. It was the continuation of the destiny of my previous life and in this life I have had to close this chapter. It happened last year in Avignon, France. I was able to see all this horror, to accept that it’s in the past, to finish the reactions to these memories in this life and free myself for future life. It’s beautiful. I can tell you, it was worth it ☺.
What happened in Avignon?
That’s for the next chapter ☺. Really, I can’t tell you in just a few words. This is a really strong, lived, purified story of the influence of my past life on my present life. Let’s leave it for another narration, maybe it could help other readers find their way, the path to solve their problems in everyday life, what do you think?
Great idea! The psychosomatic view in the heart of the matter!
I’ll quote you again: “I know today that I was born to dissolve, cut the thread of violence, disregard and fear of the family karma”. With these words you point to the much longer solution of the karmic load deep in the past. Only by purifying cells during the transition to pranic nourishment! What a deep and strong process this is!
Yes, it is. Since I released this thread of energy and I “changed”, my energies have changed. I speak about energy at the level of the courage of the women in my family. And it is an adventure to observe it,.
Do you see it being possible to apply this method to the population in the near or in the distant future? As a means of psychosomatic healing? Or is it just your personal story? Not only Henri Monfort but you also mention that this method is able to heal the physical health!
It has always been “healthy in body, healthy in mind”.
Agreed. This statement is simple and generally valid, yet we do not give it much deep thought… so I guess you’re healthy. Does your need for sleep also decrease? Do bodily detoxification and spiritual development continue?
Yes, I sleep very little. My back was broken in an accident, I do exercises every day and sometimes I lie down during the day to straighten my spine. But I have enough life energy. Detoxifying the body continues in situations like during and after talks, intensely but painlessly. The collective cell memory switches on and together you purify all the hidden issues that people carry with them -consciously or unconsciously. I’m going through a period of bodily adaptation, integration and renewal. Like after a successful, difficult operation. I’m building up the muscle tissue that has diminished after releasing the toxins. For me it’s important for my spine to be supported after the accident. At the moment it is not the muscles as you see them in adverts but the muscles that communicate with the consciousness. And spiritual development? It never ends☺. On the contrary. It is far more intense. Advanced consciousness exposes you to such situations where without belief, faith and personal inner strength you can’t even leave the house.
You have shown by example the way for other women to follow because femininity has returned to the headline of the wonderful series called Human evolution… According to you, is the rehabilitation of femininity taking place?
Yes, it’s happening! During the meetings this has already been seen, big changes take place in perception between men and women. We begin to accept ourselves as we are now, prejudices concerning what a man or woman should look like cease. I see compassion and understanding flourishing instead of humiliation and conditioning.
In your book you mention also having lived several near death experiences. After the accident you had this feeling of going through the tunnel to the other side. Then after returning you feel the pain you describe as the effects, purification “after meeting with the Light”. Do you think it is the same for all people who have lived this post-traumatic clinical death experience?
Yes, today I see that every illness is a non-illness. It’s a lack of personal strength. Nothing else. With the spiritual cause. A reduction in energy and the body’s signal of what it is about. The proposal of reading your own book of life. Stopping and reading what is good for me to do at this precise moment. But if I do not have time and I cannot feel my own body, I detach from it, and it goes at its own rhythm until it’s sapped. But it is never too late to change it. And as they say, without a fall there is no progress. But no need either to sniff the ground with your nose. You can master it without injury. You just have to take the decision.
Your professional life has been quite varied. As a nurse you did not stop moving, expanding your training during an internship abroad. In 1990 you had the opportunity to study alternative medicine as a nurse, at a time when our doctors and most general medical personnel knew nothing about it. That wasn’t enough for you and you also became the representative of a foreign medical enterprise here. In short, a high-flying career to be envied by many people, but you did not feel not happy…
No, I did not feel happy.
What was missing for you to achieve happiness? Were you able to put your finger on it at that time? Or do you feel it retroactively now?
What was I missing?
Love. Even of myself. The unconditional love which makes for a happy life, lived in health. Love when I feel obliged to do things for others so that they take notice of me and in return I do a lot; talk, play a theatrical role, out of the fear of being different from the rest. This is not unconditional love, without expectation, just to fulfil the expectations of others. I lived with the impression that doing nothing, even relaxing, is wrong, is not living. Today I know that working and creating are two ways of expressing oneself. Similarly, pity is the opposite of compassion and fear is not love.
But you also write that the internship in France in 1990 was a great initiation for you: “…Far from the energy of the home I could taste the full potential of my soul”.
Yes, there, that’s my home. Last year also clarified this sentiment of why France. It is this profound story of Avignon, but that’s for next time.
In 2000 in the United States, at the Grand Canyon you recalled… Here is where you started your new path, and then the accident, and finally the transition to pranic nourishment.
Nothing is finished. Another stage has begun, the search for terra nova incognita. I have always been curious. Now I play with pranic nourishment, I observe my body, my soul and my spirit, and I programme myself and realize what happens if I eat some solid food from time to time, for pleasure or intentionally. These discoveries are a real adventure.
You have written your story, published a book together with Henri Monfort. How do you see your story after a year since starting the process of writing the book and publishing it?
It is beautiful, like the fulfilled destiny of a woman whose heart and soul were so damaged and in this life she got another opportunity, a GIFT and reward in one by the grace of the Universe, and she will seize this joy and this love. And it’s like that.
Wonderful! But your life does not stop. What are you doing and where are you heading currently?
This is for the next book, wonderful, humorous, filled with love and miracles. Wait for it.
That’s the book. And other activities?
I’m still writing the book, what it will be like and when, that I do not know at this time. I am not planning any other activities. Not at all. I live in synchronicity. I’m where I should be, I create for the pleasure of creating. If it gives someone else pleasure then that’s reward enough. If not, it’s the challenge: what should that say to me?
I think you made great progress and you took advantage of your internship in France even before the shamanic transformation. You acquired the broad and rapid incredible perspective of how alternative medicine works or could work… Do you wish to make use of these experiences? I do not think it should be just your own experience in personal growth.
No, already as a nurse I was perceived by patients and their families as an angel. Essentially I have always used it before and am now. These gifts were taken from me in times of crisis so that I could start to learn to work with them step by step while I was recovering. And not of my own will but of the will of the Great Spirit for good. For the benefit of everyone, everything and everywhere. In harmony with the Universe and the energies that come, treat and heal, and if we decide, also nourish.
It is wonderful and I wish you on behalf of all of our readers every success on your beautiful path, may your wishes be fulfilled at the service of others, but also in your private life! And I can’t wait for our next collaboration!
